Defend our land, wildlife and water from mining and coal seam gas
Source:Nature Conservation of NSW
In the lead up to the NSW election, Barry O'Farrell assured us that critical environmental and agricultural assets would be made off limits to mining and gas extraction.
But now the NSW Government is gearing up to break that promise, by proposing a land use policy that will not place sensitive areas off limits to mining and gas, and will not provide meaningful protection for native wildlife and their habitat.
Right now, we have a critical opportunity to hold the NSW Government to their election promise.
Take immediate action: Email Premier Barry O'Farrell to demand that he tears up this flawed proposal and replaces it with a plan that will deliver real protection for local communities, farmland, water and natural areas.
