A company has plans to store radioactive and explosive materials in the Windsor area.
However, that will not happen until the summer at the earliest due to action taken late last week by the Windsor Planning Commission.
The planning commission tabled a request from Allied Wireline Services to allow the storage of radioactive and explosive materials in the Highlands Industrial Park, 7250 Greenridge Road, during last Thursday's meeting.
The planning commission will next address the issue either at the end of June or at the beginning of July.
The item appeared on the Windsor Town Board's agenda for last Monday night, but was not addressed at the meeting because the planning commission has not issued a recommendation.
