Why: On the occasion of the regional EPA public hearing on air quality and frackin (oil and gas extraction), taking place at the Colorado Convention Center on Sept 28, from 9am to 9pm.
Concerned Coloradans coming to give testimony at the public hearing will welcome the EPA and send a unified clear message to our Governor, our Colorado Oil and Gas Conservation Commission and our elected representatives: the fracking frenzy overwhelming Colorado's rural areas, suburbs, and towns must be reigned in, that the Halliburton Loophole must be swiftly closed to allow EPA oversight for public health and safety and air and water quality assessment and determination of scope of harm, that fracking for oil and gas cannot deprive Coloradans of right to health, quality of life, property values, clean air and water security.

Public Statement and Press Conference: 9:00 am , in front of the Convention Center
by representatives of community groups from all over Colorado and by
