  1. Do Weld County Commissioners ever ask questions?
The spill report above deserves a few:

    1. A tank leaked? It was made of cement? A hazardous waste tank made of cement? How long has it been there? Why didn't an annual inspection reveal this? Or were the Colorado Oil and Gas inspectors behind at this site? Or, was this an old well site that was never cleaned up and Encana just reported this leak?
    2. Equipment failure? Not the failure of the inspectors from ignoring a cement tank containing hazardous waste?
    4. OMG...6 feet from groundwater? 5 barrels of waste in a cement tank....How would they know how many barrels leaked? The industry is only NOW deciding to determine where 210 gallons of waste dispersed into the groundwater?
Where are the hydrology reports to asses where this contamination may have dispersed into the groundwater? Any connecting neighbor wells?
    5. The current land use is PASTURE???? What? Oil and Gas operations in a zone called pasture? Was a special use permit issued for this dirty, dangerous and deadly operation in a pasture???? What activity goes on in a pasture?

Weld County citizens need to check on the Weld County Planning and Zoning Regulations- Planned Unit Development Rules and the County Master Plan!!!!

Can a hazardous waste dump, underground injection, burning of gas, hazardous waste storage, chemical storage be permitted in a pasture? Is there oil and gas exploratin and drilling legally permited in Weld County in PLANNED UNIT DEVELOPMENTS?

This is not an example of a good neighbor....

  2. WTFrack...!!!!

I forgot to mention the potential contamination of the WETLNDS nearby this fracked site! Has the State of Colorado been notified of this possible groundwater migration so they can test for migration of contamination?
    BTW....WTFrack...
Is that a body of water to the left of this frack site? If it is.... what is it used for?
