~1 CU YD OF IMPACTED SOIL EXCEEDING COGCC TABLE 910-1 CONCENTRATION LEVELS HAS BEEN TRANSPORTED TO THE WASTE MANAGEMENT LANDFILL IN AULT, CO FOR DISPOSAL. PDC IS SCHEDULING FURTHER ASSESSMENT ACTIVITIES TO DETERMINE THE SOURCE OF THE RELEASE AND DELINEATE SOIL AND GROUNDWATER IMPACT AT THE SITE. RESULTS WILL BE SUBMITTED IN A FUTURE FORM 27.

PDC REPLACED THE LEAKING UNION.
Detailed Description:
RELEASE OCCURRED AT THE TANK BATTERY RELATED TO TEH MOSER 12-33 (API 123-12545). THE TANK BATTERY IS LOCATED IN THE SWNW OF SEC 33 AS DEPICTED ON FIGURE 1. DURING A SITE INSPECTION, SURFACE STAINING WAS OBSERVED NEAR THE DUMPLINE UNION FROM THE PRODUCTION TANK. FOLLOWING LIMITED EXCAVATION, PDC CONTRACTED LTE TO INVESTIGATE THE SURFACE STAINING. INVESTIGATION RESULTS INDICATED THE SURFACE STAINING WAS MINOR AND SURFICIAL. HOWEVER, HAND AUGER BORINGS INDICATED SUBSURFACE IMPACTS RELATED TO DUMPLINE AND/OR WATER VAULT FAILURE. PDC IS STILL INVESTIGATING THE SOURCE OF THE RELEASE.

  1. WTFrack...
Wow...this location is an Agricultural Zone in Weld County. Is there a special use permit for fracking in this zone???? Is hazardous waste permitted in agricultural zones in Weld County??

Why is this company only looking for 6 or so chemicals?

Would a dumpline carry fracking fluid? Dr. Theo Colburn said that fracking fluid/waste could contain over 700 chemicals...

Does the Ault solid waste landfill know they are receiving hazardous waste and yet...they are legally permitted to dump solid waste???
Oh...I forgot, the oil and gas industry is exempt from hazardous waste rules...and Coloradoan's can't use the "H" word (hazardous) when they permit the "F" word...FRACKING!

Maybe we should start using the "B" word... BAN - FRACKING IN COLORADO... When the the oil and gas industry admit to using the "H" word ...

It's a crying shame that the oil and gas industry continue to deceive citizens in Colorado ... they draw up contracts and DON'T mentioning the "H" word.... and deceving them about the contents of the "F" word.... They claim a water is being sprayed on the roads? See if they'll tell the public what is really being sprayed on the roads? Could it be the "F" word? :)
